Not really; they got this one right; by rule if his foot is in fair

Territory & his path interferes with the throw it is an out. Another iffy rule since the runner has to reach to the left to tag the base. But the runner must stay inside the line or risk being called out He’s not out if his position in fair territory doesn’t interfere with the throw Actually IF the pitcher threw back to the inside into the runner on purpose it was a smart play by UConn
