Because of when VT plays, we can treat this Tournament just like we do

a regular ACC weekend (from a timing and rest standpoint). The only difference is whether our weekend begins Thursday or Friday. IF we were to win that, and continue on, we will only need to use the three starting pitchers (if we advanced all the way to Sunday).....we have the best draw possible from a timing standpoint. If the starters of any team go early in the week and do so with any length, they are not going to turn around and pitch on the weekend (with any length). Possibly an inning or so in relief, but that's it, if any at all. Plus, a Tuesday start limits who they can start from the previous weekend anyways. No starter from the previous weekend (with the exception of maybe the Thursday guy) is going to turn around and pitch a ton on Tuesday. We are set up to do well.....

IIRC, upon reading rules, 1 & 2 seeds get first choice of days off.**
