Apologies for not being able to post updates the last few weeks, but attached and below are summer league stats through games as of 7/20. -- Eddie Micheletti: The most recent incoming transfer has had a decent summer in the Cape Cod League. He has primarily been playing LF, RF and DH while batting in the middle of Orleans lineup. For the summer, he has a .240 AVG, .333 OBP, .333 SLG, .667 OPS with 2 HR and 11 RBI. Also of note, he does a really good job of not striking out where he has just 10 SO in 96 AB. For comparison, Garrett Michel has struck out 40 times in 87 AB and Christian Martin has struck out 23 times in 74 AB. -- Sam Tackett: He continues to be our top hitter this summer where he leading all our hitters in pretty much every offensive stat and has continued to hit with power, logging 8 HR and a .550 SLG percentage. -- Preston Crowl: He has continued to struggle with his hitting but he has been really good as a relief pitcher. For the summer, he has recorded a win and a save as a pitcher while logging 8.0 innings, giving up just 3 hits, 2 walks and no runs while striking out 7 and holds a 0.00 ERA and 0.63 WHIP. -- David McCann: He continues to be a bright spot with his hitting, carrying a .889 OPS with 3 HR and 16 RBI’s. -- Matthew Westley: He has had a really strong last two weeks where he is riding a 9-game hitting streak and raised his summer OPS from .572 to .672. In the same timeframe, he has also seen action as a pitcher where he has recorded a win and a save in his last 3 outings while logging 9.0 innings and giving up just 1 earned run on 5 hits and 1 walk while striking out 9. For the summer, he now has a 2.25 ERA and 1.00 WHIP. -- Jordan Little: He continues to have a great summer and had a dominant outing on 7/11 where he recorded a win while pitching 4.0 innings, giving up 0 runs, just 1 hit and 1 walk while striking out 11 of the 14 batters he faced. For the summer, he has a 1.20 ERA, 0.47 WHIP and has struck out 28 batters in just 15.0 innings (16.8 SO/9).
