continually swung right by 78 mph change ups and breaking balls. Often the change up was well outside the strike zone, but they hacked at it anyway. I thought it was a pretty poor effort to make adjustments in their approach at the plate as game progressed. I have to give Cal Poly one thing, they brought in hard throwing pitchers after the starter was removed, and VT didn't have time to adjust after 7 innings of 78 mph change ups. I suspected it was over after the first reliever's first pitch. Great opportunity after UCLA lost and they didn't take advantage. Stage just too big I guess.
