Baseball is a tough sport and hindsight is always 20/20. That said,

I think Duke was better prepared, executed better, and was willing to go deep in their bullpen. They had a plan, particularly the last game, and it worked. Their pitching staff is good enough, and they are a resilient bunch. I think they are just a better team from preparation, to in-game coaching, and execution. Until VT learns how to consistently get runners in scoring position home, and use their pitchers more effectively, expect more of this.
