Here are some of the reasons:
A lot of people can’t make correct change.
Cash has legs and often walks away.
Concessions vendors were having “accountability” issues.
Forensic accounting folks determined that VT was leaving (losing) money for the above reasons.
Accountability and profits actually got better after going cashless.
