Compare that with Christian Martin and it was almost the opposite where in the first 22 team games he slashed .188 avg | .381 obp | .313 slg | .693 ops in 21 plate appearances. In the last 37 team games, he played in 16 games (starting 9) and slashed .300 avg | .447 obp | .500 slg | .947 ops in 40 plate appearances. And for the season, he was pretty good as a starter with an overall .992 ops in 11 starts and fared pretty well in conference with .891 ops on 25 plate appearances.
