I had the same question. Will be curious to see if he is hurt...

Grady is obviously a great defensive player but he struggled with his bat last year so it's possible Daniel and Ball just were too good to keep their bats off the field. Ball in particular is our highest rated hitting recruit in the Szefc era so Grady losing out to him might not be as big of an upset as it would seem on the surface. I'll be interested to see how Daniel does. Always a bit of a crapshoot how some of the lower level D1 guys end up translating in the ACC. He also isn't anywhere near the defensive player that Grady is so he'll need to hit well early in the season to stay on the field.
