things to get out of what appears to be a plateau under Coach Szefc. I doubt we'll see a head coaching change but he probably needs to strongly consider some staff changes. From a player personnel standpoint, it will be interesting to see how the coaches approach the offseason. From a pitching perspective, we definitely lose two key bullpen arms (Manning, LeJeune) but possibly not much else. We'll need to see if we can keep Renfrow from transferring and hope we can have Stieg and Clement return from injury. If they come back, the staff will have to decide if they essentially want to run things back with the rest of the returning staff or look to bring in some transfer arms for better depth. From a position player perspective, we lose a lot in our outfield (Watson, Tackett, Pittman, Cherry) but along the infield if Michel, Grady and Davis aren't drafted, we would have experienced players returning. Again, it will be interesting to see if the staff decides to run it back with some of our veterans if they return or if we hit the portal hard to improve our hitting talent.
