rate on both recruiting and Portal additions. Honestly no idea about NIL, but I'd be inclined to side with you in that VT and Duke may be operating from similar positions. UVA/WAKE/NCSU we are at a recruiting disadvantage. Wake for one is at the forefront on a lot of the tech and data stuff. They've invested big time with the goal of being tops in the country along those lines. It's paying off big time as evident when a guy like Chase Burns leaves Tennessee to come work with the staff and support people at Wake. UVA and NCSU have more pedigree. We have to be a program that develops talent. I wonder how this model works in the Portal/NIL era. We seem to need to be able to a)keep guys over 3-5 years and b)develop them over time. Especially on the pitching staff. Hard to rely on Freshman and lower level transfers on a yearly basis while churning recruits out of the program. Have to hit on those portal additions to at a high rate.
