That had typically been what he had done I thought with his last several OC and DC hires: OC - Ciarrocca, Yurcich & Kotelnicki all not part of his tree; DC - Diaz, Allen, Knowles also not part of his tree. I really liked the Diaz and Allen hires as former Head Coaches who were resetting as DC's after getting fired from their HC roles. Obviously, that is what Pry is but that situation is very different given it is OUR just fired HC. Guess we'll see how it works out. He was quick to fire Ciarrocca when that didn't work out, but not sure he'll do the same if Howle or Pry suck it up next year given they are his guys.
