Better than last year at this time

It is hard to believe that Pry actually said that after last night‘s game. We returned 21 of 22 starters last year. I’m not sure what zone or world Pry is living in.

It is very simple folks. We just do not have the leadership to navigate the changing world of college athletics. It really is that simple. We either get on the bus or get run over by the bus. Until things change in Blacksburg, we will be a 500 team at best. And I emphasize at best. Everybody is leaving. just look at the portal exit. That ought to tell you something. I was super encouraged last year that we did an awesome job at retention of our players but this year, a totally different story. I am very concerned and I am a very, very loyal Hokie for many many many years.

Next year

We hardly lost anybody to the portal last year and look what happened. Can you blame these kids. We kept 21 of 22 starters last year and look what it got us. Come on people. Do not be satisfied with six and six year every year. We are way better than that.
