UK already has players on the roster and I assume some recruits. Unless he plans on kicking everyone off the roster, renege on offers and add no transfers he only has a limited number of scholarships left. The only Tech player in the portal so far is Samya Suffren.

Coach Brooks came to Tech and built a solid program while representing the University well. He recruited and kept 2 generational players that are great Ambassadors for the Tech. Job well done Coach Brooks. I can't speak to all of Coach Brooks' reasons for leaving but few people would turn down a million dollars & more resources. When you talk about loyalty from coaches every coach is a couple of down seasons away from getting fired heck people were pushing for Frank Beamer to retire or be fired his last couple of years. To me the real loyalty question is the fan base. Will the fans keep showing up or will WBB go back to players begging for people to come to their games. If fans keep showing up then players will want to come and stay at Tech. The timing makes sense, Coach Brooks has less emotional investment in the players that are returning since only Wentzel has been here for a full year. That crappy thing about this is UK leaking it just before the Marshall game. That was low class. But to think that Coach Brooks did anything but his best during the tournament is ridiculous. Tech will lose a few players but if Whit can make a quick hire we should be fine. This is still an ACC program with 5 starting positions availible.

I had read how good she looked in the preseason but I think she is the only player that hasn't played.

I am not sure where all the doom and gloom is coming from. This is a different team than last year but still very good.

I don't think ESPN would be too pleased to have one of the biggest names in WBB right now miss their marque Prime time game over something trivial like team discipline. And ESPN pays the bills.

I learned some of my go to curse words from parents at little league games when I was a kid in the 60's my daughter didn't want to play little league anymore after some parents behavior at games in the 90's. People have been jerks in all generations. If this was a parent you have to feel for his daughter, she must be mortified.

I may have my Maroon and Orange glasses on but after watching this team all season the lineup looks stacked to me. The infield looks set hopefully Bennett will be back and ready to go while Peck and ***an are already stars. Bailey was one our best hitters in the post season. We had 4 outfielders by the end of the year. Darby Trull will be hard to replace defensively as well her great ability to get on base but I would expect Brown to step in. Add what looks like a good incoming freshman class seems like not a lot of room for transfers.
