I hate to be that guy

but I agree about it being quite. I keep seeing commitments on social media and wonder if we are missing opportunities. We did seem to get two good ones early though.

Yes and this upcoming season

will probably be the first time in recent memory our ex Hokies might play in Cassell in a different uniform. Not looking forward to that.

Absolutely! I will cheer

even harder for her this year because of her dedication. Before the portal transfers, I thought we were getting closer to at least challenging for the ACC title. We may still end up being better for it though, who knows. I just saw the podcast preview yesterday. Will definitely check it out.

That is one of the things that really bothers me

about the whole transfer portal. It seems like nobody wants to build on their success with their team to help take that next step the following season. All about trying to get more money or latching onto an already successful program.

Spela was a late

addition last year. Not sure why she left. Looked like there could have been potential there. I am getting anxious to see some more commitments though.

Good for her

would rather see her stay than going to South Carolina.

Same here

Was able to get back into reserved seating but not a great seat. Will most likely continue to buy a secondary market ticket since I usually attend by myself.

Kayana Traylor signed

a training camp contract with the Indiana Fever. Would love to see her stick with a team.

I haven't seen anything on social media

about her training right now. I felt like that was part of the appeal of coming back to Blacksburg. Would love for someone to give her a chance.

Dont' understand this years location

at all. Only seems to benefit the Florida schools and Georgia Tech. Hard to drive 6 1/2 hours for a game if you can't attend the whole tournament.

Was surprised it was over 4,000

maybe people were spread out more. Would really like to see more students at the games.

Did season tickets seem to

go on sale with very little notice this year? Bought mine and once again no reserved seats available even though donation level increased.

I agree 100%

Her development from a spot up 3 pt shooter last year to an all around threat and rebounder has been remarkable. ** Edited by gcdevilhokie at 3/24/2025, 6:21:20 PM

Rose and Tilley deserve all of the appreciation

they have been getting. I'm very grateful for their hard work & contributions over the last two years. However, I want to give Carleigh credit for how she handled herself and became the unrecognized leader for the team before the season began. It was a very uncertain moment with the coaching change, loss of a star player, and incoming recruits. Her stepping forward first and announcing her intention to stay seemed to bring everyone together. Once that core group committed I know I was a lot more optimistic about the season. I've thoroughly enjoyed watching them this year and am already looking forward to next season.

I admired her demeanor

throughout the year. Her reactions were always pretty much the same. No showboating or celebrating after a made shot, always turned and got back on defense. Stayed pretty calm during the crappy foul calls she endured all year as well.

Vacant seats in reserved section

seemed to be the norm for many games. I bought secondary tickets all year long for cheap and never used my season tickets that were bumped to general admission. Felt like it affected the atmosphere for the games.

Glad to see I wasn't alone I suppose

Season ticket holder for about 6 years with one fantastic seat behind the Hokie bench. Newer Hokie Club member learning the ropes and had made some donations. Bumped to GA. Totally changes my perception of the gameday experience now. Still going to attend as I've watched this program grow and want the success to continue. Frustrated about this process though.
