I agree, just responding the the poster saying their fans don’t support.

When in reality they sell more tickets in volume, and a higher percentage of available tickets. So no matter what metric is used, over Tony Bennett era, uva has consistently been top 3 in ACC attendance

You do realize UVAs stadium holds almost 6k more seats.

To date they are 3rd in ACC in attendance only behind Syracuse and UNC. They also avg 96% tickets sold per game vs 88% sold for VT. Both numbers are very solid in this day and age for live sports, but the numbers would say that uvas basketball fans show up both in higher number of tickets and higher percentage of tickets. I think the support for basketball across all schools in the state is arguably as good as any other state for college basketball
