Hope Bowen follows in Friedgen's footsteps...
Both started as offensive lineman at Maryland. Bowen's Head Coach was Friedgen and the OC was James Franklin. Friedgen as Maryland's OC in the 80's won 3 consecutive ACC championships. His QBs were Boomer Esiason, Frank Reich and Stan Gelbaugh. All played 10+ years on the NFL. I am hoping Bowen has some of that success!
