nah. the defensive 1st coach has been blasted this half
he hasnt fielded a defense worth a damn the last 2 years. the FU did this excuse is gone.

not replacing beamer at the end took us out of the national conversation
FU took us down to middling ACC when the ACC was a true top 5 conference
Pry has us as a middle to bottom ACC team when the landscape changed and made the ACC not a true power conference anymore
and whitt has to go with him.
he has come out and had the team waxed. he gets killed over and over in the 2nd half.

at this point he isnt getting that extension until the current contracts up
if he gets a new staff and they click, show me again in 2026. no way to extend after so many bad seasons, im not paying for the 1 good with all the bad. i dont think it matters and we are just letting the # go down before we reboot the staff top to bottom.

bowen needs to stop the stupid WR screen look
duke knows to just crash the line cause its a run or swing pass. so they can go straight up field knowing its not a pass downfield.
they are eating it up all night, other than a missed tackle td

on that last one
they shoulda taken the TO. that play was doomed and a FG keeps it a 2 score game. pry cant save them all to the end and hope. that was a spot to really use it.

just like the damn end of the 1st half, gets silly with the play calls. the swing pass hasnt worked, so and he keeps doing it and showing it. duke doesnt care, they have stopped it and it takes a player out of the play if we dont actually use it. then the silly option up the gut hasnt worked the last 4-5 times, but like we practice insanity continuing to try. duke has no question its coming at this point pre snap and snuff it out.

little resistance that drive. multiple plays were busted coverages and really bad formations made it a clown show there.

maybe a bit better
the defense might be a wash up front and a bit better at LB just as this year its terrible. the secondary is going to be hit hard though. i hope they hit the portal for meat inside and depth there too. outside i think the DE are going to be similar but gonna hurt loosing APR.
on offense, idk, coney looks legit, but all the WR talent going is going to hurt hard. holloway, greene, and benji being back is ok, but lane, S Gosnell and a lesser degree Felton are going to be missed.
really want a better coordinator on O, and they need something up front to stop the run better. its been terrible this year.

that drive was helped by the push off from the WR on strong on 3rd down
then a nice big run off a hold.... drones is killing us but that was on the refs there to get them moving
