And I think the kids representing VT take the NIT as a chance to gain a positive experience in the post season that they will remember the rest of their lives even if they don't return. Being rewarded for their hard work this season even if things didn't end exactly like they'd hoped. I think they are mature enough to understand that and swallow their pride (reflection of CMY). Opportunity for Catoor, Basille, Mutts etc to represent VT in a positive light and a chance for the fans to see them play some more. Understand VT is looking at quite a bit of turn over as well. Who knows, Rice could continue to flourish this week and next and stick around at VT and be a star. That in itself would be a net gain for playing in the NIT.
