Not too shabby for what was supposed to be the year before THE year

ESPN's latest bracketology
Moved up into the first four out! Going into conference play, it would appear that our nonconference schedule has set us up well to earn our spot.

Nonsense
Whoever set that line is looking purely at the rankings. If we'd been healthy for the UNC dual, we likely win and our ranking would be higher. Even if we don't win tonight, I would think the odds of us losing by that much would be pretty low.

First Four Out per ESPN
If we can hold serve against the ACC teams we should beat and get a couple wins against the top teams, we may have a shot at making the tournament!

Are "system" coaches viable in college basketball anymore?
I get that every coach has their own style of offense and defense they run, but it seems like any coach that has a system that is too complicated to install with new players and have a team legitimately competing for a tournament spot is really going to struggle in the new world of NIL and transfer portal. It's just not realistic to think you're going to have more than two or three of your starting five stay the same from one season to the next. And you're going to lose any bench players that might get more minutes at another school. From everything I've heard, CMY is a great coach that knows how to develop players. But multi-season player development just isn't part of the college game anymore.

Quad W-L records
Why doesn't the NCAA site track records by quad for women's BB like they do for the men? Is anyone aware of a site that actually has that info? I can't find it anywhere.

NET rankings are screwy
We earn a Quad 1 win by beating Duke and both teams move up one spot (VT from 18 to 17, and Duke from 22 to 21).
