Possible Scenario
I believe it is highly likely Chesney will be hired away from JMU this cycle. I also believe that JMU considers replacing him with Philip Montgomery and the remnants of the current VT staff.

ACC- I didn't realize Miami, UNC and SMU had that many enter the portal. There's still a lot of good talent out there.

After reading the terms of CMD's contract
my only question is what are the buyout options if she decides to leave in the future. I hope Whit learned his lesson from KB's contract extension that had an easy buyout.

Hopefully Silva will weigh out her options
for playing at UK. She will be playing behind Strack for 3 years. I don't think Strack had emerged as the real deal until after Silva had signed.

A serious lack of Bigs in that group of 5 and 4 stars....
Also the the players on the list from from Virginia are already committed to UNC and Tenn. Brooks really neglected recruiting Virginia.

A player with a "do not contact" tag in the NCAA transfer portal has already chosen their new school. If Va Tech has not withdrawn that players scholarship yet, then they can be contacted.by VT. However there are no restrictions on the player initiating contact with a school.

.I foresee their roster getting pillaged in the next 30 days and VT should take a look at a couple of those players, especially their strong portal class.
