…and I’d really like to see a list of buzzer beaters that Tech has WON. Need to keep my spirits up and not wallow in the history of times luck wasn’t on our side. That SMU shot was crazy. Those rarely go in. Let’s move on (and hope the next game that comes down to the wire goes to overtime where VT will definitely prevail!)

Following along on phone so I don’t know if the team is getting wide open looks. Just feels like the team is settling for low-percentage shots. I guess with Gurdak and Hansberry foul trouble there is t a lot we can do around the paint.

Two years at VT weren’t detrimental to NAW! Is it too early to dream? Amani, Ben, Schutt, Tyler + Dorn/Gurdak. GREAT core! Run it back, Neo! Just need to (really) replace a Tobi-type of player. REALLY enjoying this season. Know Neo is most likely a one-and-done but loving how these guys are playing together.

Bronny is class of ‘23 Swinton is class of ‘24 So Bronny wants to come to VT to play with Swinton? So he comes a year early to eventually play with Swinton? But isn’t Bronny going to the NBA after his first year to join his dad on some team? Does any of this make sense? I don’t think it does. No guarantees Swinton ever makes it to VT. My son’s high school is in the same conference as Sierra Canyon. They beat Sierra Canyon three times this season, once while Bronny was injured. They have a guy committed to Houston, one to Duke and one to Gonzaga (Mercy Miller, Caleb Foster, Dusty Stromer). Bronny isn’t some can’t miss talent that can take over in games and will his team to victory. Bronny might turn out to be a good college basketball player. I wouldn’t get excited about any possible hearsay that he’s coming to/considering VT, though. Still believe in the team. Just a hard fought battle, without Cattoor, on the road. Team still learning to play without Cattoor and team still learning to play together with new guys and continue to striving to get better. It’s a long season, and realistically here’s where the team is at — 3 losses Two games were decided by 2 points each One game, on the road, decided in overtime Undefeated at home No blowout losses, team is in every game Camden showed some potential today, for the first time Team played hard with a lot of guys carrying multiple fouls Team played for the first time without Cattoor Give it time. Still lots of hope for another stellar season, guys. Love rooting for this team.

What a jump in production, so far! Reminds me of Erick Green’s leap after his Freshman year. Talent + hard work + more minutes working well for him. Will be interesting to see how he handles the ACC conference gauntlet coming up.

Latifah name drops Virginia Tech in the film, while talking about a track meet where she met Adam’s character in college. Maybe this is a nod to Tech track legend Queen Harrison?
