This was such a disappointment. Still can't believe it.

A very slow start, bad game plan by the offense, bad game plan by the defense, lack of adjustments (especially on Vandy's last drive to tie the score)........that's why we lost.

It wasn't just Pry, our coordinators are awful, both of them, but especially Bowen.

Thankfully, it was overturned on review, but cost Duke one of their challenges. That ump needs to be removed. TERRIBLE!!

A LOSER!!! I believe most long-time Hokie fans are just tired of losing the important games. Whether its a tournament game, a game against a ranked opponent, a rivalry game, whatever the situation, much more often than not, the Hokies come up short, and usually in spectacular fashion (such as the Softball effort tonight). That's why the support for the WBB team has been so overwhelmingly positive. They finally broke through and made it to the Final Four in 2023/2024, won the important games against NCSU, and were poised for a good run this post-season before the injury. Hokie fans reward effort and competitiveness, even in losses. All too often, our teams tend to not show up when the spotlight is brightest, and that is what frustrates most Hokie fans (myself included). But, at the end of the day, its just games, and the sun will come up tomorrow, cloudy or not.

She will either make the team and be a productive player, or she would be a valuable trade option. Either way, the Aces found tremendous value with the #24 pick.

she is a Hokie for life. We can't not support her, after this year anyway. The only thing I (and many others) have fault with her on is following the previous coach to the other school, familiarity and/or loyalty aside, she would have been better served to go elsewhere and learn from another coach. She could have gone anywhere she wanted. In my opinion, she is taking a big risk by sticking with traitor, unless he promised her lots of cash that she couldn't get somewhere else. Maybe traitor is paying her some of his new-found wealth, like an allowance from her 2nd Dad.

He's made enough money already to where its not even an after thought. Plus, he would be a highly sought after talking head on ESPN or other network once he hangs up coaching (watch out Seth Greenberg). In my opinion, it was a pointed remark toward the previous individual. LOVED IT!!

I'll never have anything but a negative opinion of the previous coach (also known as FCKB) because of the way this has all transpired. However, it IS time to move on and give full support and thoughts to Coach Duffy and the OUTSTANDING young ladies that have remained true to their commitments toward Virginia Tech!!

He doesn't deserve to be displayed in any Virginia Tech sites.

and I will BOO the previous coach the entire time, pregame, 40 minutes of game time, and post-game. I don't think I've ever despised the actions of a single individual this much (right up there with Biden). As others have said, it just feels incredibly SLEEZY, hypocritical, and manipulative. A slap in the face to all of the Hokie fans that supported this team, especially the last few years.

I know there is plenty to discuss, but we need not forget about Liz and her wellbeing.

I'd absolutely LOVE for Georgia to finish here college (or is it now semi-pro) career at Virginia Tech, but if she can go elsewhere and play for another coach while making a pile of money for herself, then I can't fault her for that. I just hope its not KY or anyone that we play on a regular basis. Best wishes to her..........But, you can still come back to VT.

He's gone. He made his choice for whatever reasons (doesn't really matter). Its time for VT to move on and support the next leader of our WBB program and build it to even greater success. The ACC is a GREAT conference for Basketball, Women and Men, and it will be getting better next year with the additions. Let's focus on the players in our program and let the previous coach go and suffer the consequences of his choices. GO HOKIES!!

would be very beneficial if you had any thoughts of going into the coaching profession. I thought that Hunter should have done that last year if he wanted to coach in the future. I'd hate it from a player standpoint, but it really makes sense if coaching is a future goal.

Its been exactly 40 years since an underrated, and unlikely, NC State team made it to the Men's Final Four. They were given NO Chance against a Houston team that had dominated their competition all year. Can history repeat itself? Regardless if its LSU/Iowa/USC, it will be a tremendous challenge, but we've made it this far........So, WHY NOT US???

So excited to see these ladies play again!!! Take care of business and advance!!

Players and coaches need to wear plain white t-shirts until they start playing VT football. They certainly were not worthy of the VT jersey tonight. I didn't expect a clean game tonight, but I didn't expect it to be this bad either.

The ladies Softball team was in a very similar position. Hoping for a different result from the guys!!!

Her agility is not very good. I guess some of that could be her height, but she should train with the Soccer team for a while.....that would definitely help her.
But its not just a Liz issue. The rest of the ladies could benefit as well.

you have to play. To win a Championship, you have to play good teams, you just have to be better than your opponent on that day. We were not today.

Good season overall, but we have more work to do.
