Hey all, will be making the move down south from the Philadelphia area this fall. My wife scored a dream job at the university and with the youngest starting college our empty nest adventure is getting off to a faster start than anticipated. Good news is we cut half the distance to Texh where my oldest is a senior. Anyway, we have a decent idea of where we want to live (leaning west or north Knoxville) but any advice about the area (and otherwise snarky comments) is appreciated.

Shane and my daughter were teammates in high school and I've coached at the middle school and helped out with the high school for several years. When Shane was thinking about transferring from Tampa, we talked about Tech and reached out to the coaches to let them know about him. Shane told me it came down to the two VA schools. Sadly he went the other way but it obviously worked out for him! He's a great kid and we're super excited for him.
