Surprising results in Knoxville region

Miami OH was the best statistical offense in softball and UVA shut them out twice. Tennessee shut UVA twice did not allow a run in the regional. Tennessee dominating was not a surprise.

Liberty is up 2-1 in the 7th.

Would be heartbreaking that VT might have hosted a Super Regional

Rosenberry 1.6 era 13-3 WL record

Thought it was funny Kelly Maxwell transferred from Okla. St to Oklahoma this year to obviously win a national championship and loses here last night pitching against Okla. St.

Listed Attendance for Sat. Alabama game 4008.

Do not know if that many were there, but that would be a big crowd for softball.

What has changed for pitchers?

When Angela Tincher pitched she averaged almost 2 strikeouts/inning for her career! There were numerous pitchers with ridiculous stats. Canady is unbelievable though. The problem for Stanford is they cannot score.

The WDBJ7 app will work pretty much anywhere

You can tell it to follow you so it will always give the weather at your location. You can type in any location to check the weather at that location.

No strikeouts

Emma Ritter has yet to strikeout this year but is not listed at all on NCAA toughest to strikeout list.

Oklahoma has had three one run games, one a loss

Washington 5-4 win, Liberty !! 1-0 win and Baylor 3-4 loss, otherwise all blowouts.

Fun Fact

Angela Tincher is second all time in stikeouts per 7 innings. Cat Osterman is first. Cat was the tv color commentator yesterday on the Longhorn Network for the VT game.

I could not take the announcers constantly saying

That Oklahoma is the greatest team in sports today. That Alo is as great as Michael Jordan and Babe Ruth. It is true she is a great hitter but she must be a liability in the field.

I agree

I watched their game last night and she had two feet in the air on almost every pitch. Jordy Bahl is the kind of player you would love if on your team but hate if she is on the opposing team.
