What would you suggest we do at this point? There aren't any good options. No teams that move the needle are joining the ACC. We could certainly do nothing and just wait for the conference to die without adding any more revenue. I agree that we totally shat the bed but we can't go back in time. Might as well just play the hand we have now.

Divided between the 15 schools. Some will be divided evenly and some based on performance. But to make it easy let's assume it is divided into evenly. That is an extra 3 or 4 million a year extra. Not going come close to making up the difference with the big two conferences but is something. Who cares at this point. What do we get by not adding them? It's not like they are any worse than a lot of our schools are already.

Who cares at this point. There are no options to save the conference anyway. Focus should be on generating revenue to keep the gap as small as possible so you can position your program to look as attractive as possible for the big 10 or sec when teams can start leaving.

How does it not outweigh the negatives? Everything you said is true and can't be changed. It has doomed the conference no matter what it does. So at this point don't you just cut your losses and try to generate whatever extra revenue you can get until the conference dies?

The ACC is a sinking ship no matter what at this point. Might as well grab as much $$$ as possible to try to help the program position itself as well as possible before the GOR expires. This adds extra revenue. Agree that if we were in a stable conference with long term potential this would be dumb but if these schools are going to forfeit $$$ for our benefit then why not?

'Hooked' is a great seafood place that isn't too expensive. Expect a wait unless you get there early. 'The King's Head' is a fun Irish Pub with live music. But you won't have trouble finding a million of those. ** Edited by GiftSub2008B at 8/15/2023, 12:30:41 PM
