You've missed the point of my post

Never in the above did I condone the booing or being rude. I believe I even stated I didn't agree with the booing. You can save those garbage comments for those that find that acceptable. I believe it is incredible pompous to insinuate only a person in that profession is capable of sufficiently evaluating the end product. Sufficiency is determined by the customer. My point from your example above is that I don't need to be in the food industry to understand that my sandwich was not adequate based on my expectation. There are two separate issues, evaluating the product and the method by which that is communicated. I disagree with the point of view that only someone in the industry has the ability to evaluate if the CFA worker did a good job. I think that is pretty garbage and a position of someone that can't tolerate the questioning of their decision-making ability. I do agree, that doesn't have to be communicated in an inappropriate manner. ** Edited by CVCHokie at 2/1/2026, 12:39:34 AM

I think your analogy is off

No, but they can tell if you retail travel was satisfactory or not. If the food tastes bad the customer probably doesn't blame the dishwasher. The fans aren't dissatisfied with the announcer or the folks cleaning the locker room but rather the product, that is what the customers are buying. I'm don't enjoy the fans booing the players but let's not pretend you have to be a basketball professional to understand when the product/service is good. There are multiple professions that a young professional, that has a boss, is not performing sufficiently and has to hear it directly from the customer even when the customer may not understand the professionals role with the boss or the mechanics of the profession.

I would say the fans are customers.

Customers pay the bills. If customers aren't satisfied then should they just stay silent and not express their displeasure with a product? The customer doesn't need to be an expert to buy the product and the customer will know if the product isn't satisfactory. I can't bake a cake, but I can certainly tell you if it tastes bad. I'm not saying people are right to boo Neo and I do think he has to play through this funk and the coaches will help him. But the comments that you can't boo or express displeasure with the product you are buying if you aren't a basketball coach/professional is silly talk. Fans/customers don't have to be a professional to know that a 0% 3 pt% and a 12.5% FG% aren't good.

Low IQ teams

lose this game and the Stanford game. Very frustrating. Next practice should be nothing but free throws and end of game situation.

My point is, he shouldn't have taken it at all.....

and the coaches should have ensured he didn't. Either through play design or substitution.

Pedulla actually tried to get the shot off and move into the defender

He tried to make it and get a foul shot for the four pt. Play. Odds are 1:1,000,000 to make it but it was the only chance and was actually a very heady play on his part

Last shot

I was at the game last night. Collins played good D and played hard. It is inexcusable that the staff couldn’t draw up a play to free-up three point shooter. At this point it would be better for Poteat to shoot a three. Collins is giving effort but the shots just aren’t falling. In that situation the coaches have to get the ball to someone that can make the shot. Cattoor was out and the defense was going to key on Pedulla so Nickel, Baron Or Rechsteiner would have been better options.
