A lot of variables involved there. Really hard to believe this is a VT
thing. Probably related to fan passion, for sure, but I don't see evidence that's VT-specific. Of course a kid will get treated better in a new place, that's kinda the point of leaving. Not living up to expectations at your current stop then getting a fresh start and a fresh mindset at a new place with better results is not evidence this is a VT phenomenon.

This is how it works at football schools. I'm glad people even care if we
have good bball years and will support the program. If you build it... But if you suck you are on your own. IIWII. At least we arent UNC football where no one comes even if they are good.

How do you think playing for OT is the right move?
Holding timeouts once it was clear they were going to score and then running out the 30 secs at the end? Your kicker can hit from the moon and you dont make sure he gets a shot because you like you chances better in OT? OK....

All true. But man I used to love when a wrestler came into the judo dojo.
Putting me on my back ain’t a win for you on my mats lol. Wrestling is a great sport and I am always impressed by a kid that excels in it.
