Posting History (5)

F**k Enter Sandman

There’s been zero home field advantage in the past decade. VT football is dead and I wish fans would understand that and stop packing the stadium. There were way too many fans in Lane to start the game. Pry is Raines b***h and it’s not even up for discussion. He shouldn’t even be allowed to coach the second half. Babcock and Pry need realtors, yall know any??

Bye Bye Beamer…Era

I'm at my Whit's end haha not only with Coach Pry and this lackadaisical football team but also with the fanbase and their allure with the Beamer era. I see so many comments about, "roll the dice on Vick," "Hire Michael," etc. Can we please stop with all of that and leave people in their respective chapters of VT history? Why on Earth would anyone want to restart this program with another inexperienced, brand new head coach? What this school and program need to do is adjust to the modern times and leave the past, in the past. We need a winner and someone who's going to turn the tide for this team with discipline, accountability and get top tier players out of the portal. CFB is not designed to bring in 50 high schoolers every year in hopes of developing them for 2-3 years. By the time they're ready for the field, LSU or Ohio State come a calling with bigger wallets. Go after a proven winner like Dan Mullen or someone else that has actually tallied up wins in real life. I'm so tired of VT being a stepping stone and every fan clinging onto the Beamer Era. I'm sorry to break it to you but that is over and will never be again, besides, Frank is a USC fan now. (Compliments to @treadmillhorse on X for the picture)

MARSHALL GAME

I’m currently sitting here in Huntington and I started to look around the stadium and my first thought is how disappointing this team is but secondly, how disappointing the fan base is. I go to Tech away games all the time and this is by far, the worst travelled game that I’ve ever been a part of. Very disappointing but at the end of the day, I understand that it’s a bad product on the field but terrible turnout.

Depth Chart Notes

Quick notes on Depth Chart at first glance: *Tisdale bumped down to 3rd spot. *Good to see Holston listed after missing practice and being "banged up." Wasn't sure if we were going to see King get the start. *Lofton ahead of Blue right now, heard good things about him all throughout camp and Blue missed numerous practices due to injury. I hope Blue can work his way back up the chart, we'll need his experience down the stretch. *Farrell in that 3 spot over Bullock. *Love seeing King/Black on KR and DJ Harvey grinding it out on the PR, excited to see his speed in open space. *McDonald twins knocking on the door, I'm sure they'll get some good reps this season that will hopefully catapult them into the next year to seriously make a push for those starting roles. *Excited to see what Keller brings to that linebacker group and to this Marve/Pry defense. We've heard all of the hype and he's obviously worked his tail off to take the #1 spot, now it's time to see it on the field. *Not too many surprises with the defensive backfield, I think everyone is where we thought they would be as far as the depth chart goes. Same applies for the DL. *Last note on the Offensive Line, we are absolutely gutted for depth/experience on that line. Our biggest weakness as far as drop offs go. Right Tackle is the only position that doesn't have a true or redshirt freshman sitting behind them but that's not saying much because Schick is a Sophomore, granted, so is Clements. *Side note* Can't wait to see Wells sling the rock and see what Kaleb Smith does as the #1 WR, where he will definitely get more than the 20 catches he had last season! Let me know your thoughts on this! Looking forward to being in Norfolk on Friday to bring home the W!
