But you're right about his rapport with Big Ben and Jim P., it's a joy to listen to. And it doesn't hurt that the Os usually win, that's for sure. BTW MLB shows how it should be done in terms of streaming services. Available in Europe and you get every game, within an hour or so of conclusion. I wish somebody in CFB and CBB would get their act together and provide the same. Also, I've linked the St. John's/BC game, which was called by the dynamic duo.

Living in the Netherlands and on a six-hour time delay, I'm forced to make do with Youtube replays and the like. ESPN used to have an archive service where you could watch most games after they were played, but they discontinued it. At any rate, some takeaways: 1) App State beats Auburn. And not for lack of Auburn trying. What's all this about SEC athletes, too tough for us, can't handle their pressure, etc etc. If it weren't for a miracle finish for Georgia against FSU, the ACC would have beaten the vaunted SEC in the challenge. So sick of SEC schmoozing and ACC bashing. 2) Clemson looks like the class of the ACC and a Final Four team. 3) Kevin Brown and Cory Alexander are the perfect game-broadcasting duo. I tallied up the number of teams to make the field per conference, and combined that with their average seeding to get a coefficient. Then multiplied this by the number of teams to make each level. Here is the outcome. In the Sweet 16 the best major conference was Big East followed by the SEC and the Big 12. In the Elite 8, the Big 12 was the best, followed by the ACC and the Big East. In the Final Four, it's the ACC followed by the Big East. Now here's a different calculation, using average seeding as the basis. Thus (average seeding) * (# of teams in the Sweet 16). Here the ACC jumps to #7.

Here's the chart in terms of number of teams in the field (same as my previous post), but corrected for the Pac-12 (they had only 4 teams in the field, not 7):

It would be revealing to take the seedings into account as well... ACC was generally lower seeded.

I just up and made this little list. Notice the bottom-dweller. Big East stands out.
