It would be interesting to have him as a coach. Have to figure it would give VT lots of attention and sports news. I think he would be a coach that would put his all into it for obvious reasons plus alot of help from behind the scenes and I think recruiting would get a boost.

No, Duke maybe but I doubt it. UVA. Wow either way. It's a very talented team, with a lot of heart, not a curse, just very very good, not great. Very very good is awesome and should be given credit. I love my hokies. Coach not quite earning his puffed salary.

Someone called me uninforced ormed or a child. Sorry i got this right. We played a good team with our backups. If not for the coach I think we would have had it. Even with coach issues we almost did. We are very good but not great but very good is good. Sorry for the loss, the team gave all they had, just fell the wrong way. Go Hokies

I'm still nervous about beating t
the orange .... we are stopping ourselves as much or more then they are stopping us and they are starting to get the offense moving. If not for the turnovers they could be leading or down by one score.

I think our defense will give up big yards but their aggressive nature will do.more good than bad. Offensive will suffer some without tuten but if the coaches are worth a hoot we will compensate. Team knows this is a BIG one and not to look past it. Close!!!

Workhorse, lots of the offense depends on him. Maybe Thomas can step it up. I remember the big east days when Duke and Rutgers were the absolute bottom of the heap lucky to win a single game maybe 2 in a season

Final record
If we are lucky 7/5. Don't think we beat Clemson or Duke. Hopefully beat UVA. Syracuse i think will be difficult to win. A far stretch would be 8/4.

I think it may be difficult for this team with these coaches
To play at the level they played miami. Maybe for the uva game but not the others so much. They really put it all out on the field with great disappointment. This is when the fan base needs to step up and give overwhelming support.

To pull that reversal was wrong and cruel. The deflation is just very bad. No matter how many times I look at it, he had the ball and was down

Fosters energy
The defense use to feed off his energy big time. Foster was exhausted as the players after the game. We have not had that since.. good play and foster was a shot of adrenaline, bad play and you knew you had to do better and he still a shot of adrenaline. Someone needs to keep the team pumped before the game and all the way through.

Zero emotion on the sideline by coach or player. How are you going to get adrenaline flowing in a ho hum environment. They are walking around like they are at a barbecue or something.

We look soft, like they are only playing at 75 percent. Will get clobbered and embarrassed by Miami if we play like this.. I don't understand what's driving the team to play this way especiallybat home.

If we show up
If we play as if we showed up for ALL 4 quarters, we avoid more than one fumble and 2 crappy penalties, we are aggressively prepared, and have a descent game plan on both sides.....could we beat this team even if the hurricanes play solid for 4 quarters with one fumble and a few crappy penalties. My gut says probably not. Thoughts?

We just are not there, Clint Eastwood said you have to get dirty dog mean. Fighters work up there adrenalin to win. The coaches have not a clue how to prep this bunch to win. Like Fuente, they DO NOT know how to get them in the competition mode. We are always be

Win better feeling than a loss. The team needs to learn how to pump addrendial before the fight like those cage fighters. Talent is there, coaching is a head scratch. Win is better than lose, we have potential to win more than lose, already better than last year. Watch and enjoy the hopeful progression, might still be a team that can be the beast of the big east speaking from years ago.
