Couldn’t make the Spring game. I finally
had a chance to look at the posted roster. VT is absolute huge, in particular the Offensive line! If these guys have decent “feet” should bode well for the running game in the near future!🙏😎

Sure wish we could get Eisenreich
more consistent as a 3rd weekend day starter. I know he was injured for a bit. Obviously need our starters to go a productive 4 or 5 innings to
have a chance for winning an ACC series…

Question for you softball coaches out there.
Our excellent pitcher Lemley tames Bama’s bats last Friday and no hits a very solid Liberty team yesterday. So what happened on Sunday when Bama shelled us? Did Bama hitters have a better approach at bat, were pitches not moving and covering too much of the plate etc?

Kind of surprised that VT baseball
scheduled a three game series in the middle of exam week. Depending on major I know that would be challenge for a lot of kids. Of course I wasn’t exactly a stellar student either! Lol

Bottom line yesterday
BC’s pitching definitely handled our best hitters yesterday (too many strikeouts often with 2 strikes!) Not to mention the relievers just didn’t get it done…

I didn’t see the game yesterday.
Checking the box score the win was even more impressive since Kitley and Amoore offensively went a combined 5 for 27 from the field! Way to find ways to get it done ladies!
