Hylton (Woodbridge, VA) offensive lineman/defensive end Silas Dzansi announced this afternoon that he has verbally committed to Virginia Tech. Dzansi, a senior and previous Delaware State pledge, will attend Fork Union Military Academy next fall according to Andy Bitter of the Roanoke Times.

Per InsideNova.com, Dzansi is an inexperienced but athletically gifted prospect with good size. The 6'6", 265-pound prospect first began playing football as a sophomore in high school and has since seen action at offensive tackle, tight end, defensive end defensive tackle. Dzansi plays on Hylton's varsity basketball squad as well.

Nineteen prospects have now committed to Virginia Tech in the class of 2016. Eight of those recruits have already enrolled while the remaining 11 are expected to sign letters of intent on February 3.
