According to a tweet from Cumberland County Public Schools, Cumberland High School (VA) senior offensive tackle TJ Jackson has verbally committed to Virginia Tech.

Measuring in at 6'9", 325 pounds (per Hudl), Jackson played offensive tackle and defensive tackle his senior season. The Farmville Herald reports that he held offers from Virginia Tech, Virginia and NC State before coming to his decision.

Virginia Tech now boasts three offensive line commitments in the class of 2016, including Jackson, Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA) standout Thomas Jarrett Hopple and Darlington (Rome, GA) star Patrick Kearns. The latter prospect missed his entire senior season while recovering from a stress fracture in his foot.
