1990 UVA: The Hoos had been ranked #1 in the country a few weeks earlier.
1999 Syracuse: The first time College Gameday came to town.
1999 Miami: The second time College Gameday came to town.
1999 Boston College: The Hokies were going for an unbeaten season.
2000 Georgia Tech: The Sunday night opener, Michael Vick's sophomore season.  Lightening forced the game to be canceled right before kickoff.
2001 Miami: Before the season began, all VT fans had this game circled.
2002 LSU: The first big game after the South Endzone expansion.
2003 Miami: Similar to the 2001 Miami game.
2005 Miami: Considered Tech's biggest obstacle to the National Championship Game.
2007 East Carolina: The first football game following the April 16 shootings.
2007 BC: Thursday night, BC was ranked #2 in the country.
2015 OSU: The National Champs on Monday night.
