Indian River (Chesapeake, VA) rising senior linebacker Jaquan Yulee will announce his college commitment on Thursday, June 4, at 6:30 p.m. Multiple outlets report that the 6'2", 235-pound Yulee, a 4-star prospect, will choose from five finalists: Alabama, Florida State, Michigan State, North Carolina and Virginia Tech.

In an interview with TechSideline.com during "The Opening: D.C." last month, Yulee said he would likely commit around Signing Day. He obviously has changed his mind in terms of timing. It is no surprise, though, to see Alabama, Florida State, North Carolina and Virginia Tech in the final five.
“UNC and Virginia Tech have been there with me from the beginning. FSU is a top school, and the Alabama visit I made was amazing,” Yulee said at "The Opening."
Of the five finalists, I see this race likely coming down to Alabama, North Carolina and Virginia Tech. Yulee has visited all three schools, including UNC several times. He was scheduled to attend Virginia Tech's Spring Game
