Jacksonville College (Jacksonville, TX) sophomore Johnny Hamilton has signed a letter of intent with Virginia Tech, Jaguars head coach Jody Bailey said this evening.
Hamilton, a 7'0" center, made an official visit to Virginia Tech this past weekend. He also had interest/offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Cincinnati, Houston, Minnesota, Oklahoma State, SMU, Tennessee, Tulsa, Washington State and Wichita State.
Hamilton plans to enroll at Virginia Tech this summer along with high school recruits Kerry Blackshear, Chris Clarke and Justin Robinson.
