Defensive lineman Clay Dean from Woodgrove High in Purcellville, VA has committed to Virginia Tech.

Dean, a 2016 recruit, is a defensive tackle listed at 6-3, 245 on MaxPreps.com (click here to see his profile) and 6-2, 240 on 247Sports (click here). TechSideline.com has him listed at 6-3, 250.
Virginia Tech is Dean's only offer. Dean is the ninth commitment for Virginia Tech in the 2016 class, the fourth from the state of Virginia. He is the first defensive lineman to commit for the class.
