Details of the Bud Foster contract extension were released on Saturday, and TechSideline.com was able to obtain a copy of the summary.

Foster signed a five year contract that will expire on December 31, 2019.  Here is his base salary for each football season...

2015: $600,000
2016: $625,000
2017: $650,000
2018: $675,000
2019: $700,000

Foster will also be paid an annual $300,000 retention bonus.  $150,000 will be paid on June 30, and the other $150,000 will be paid on December 1.  Here's how his yearly salary will look when you factor in the retention bonus...

2015: $900,000
2016: $925,000
2017: $950,000
2018: $975,000
2019: $1,000,000

Foster will also have opportunities to collect performance bonuses.

1)Frank Broyles Award: $10,000

A maximum of one of the following, whichever is the highest goal achieved...

1)Appearance in an ACC Championship Game: $5,000
2) Winning an ACC Championship Game: $7,500

A maximum of one of the following, whichever is the highest goal achieved...

1) Play in a third tier, non-College Football Playoff bowl game: $35,000
2) Play in Capitol One, Russell or Belk Bowl: $40,000
3) Play in Orange, Peach, Sugar or Rose Bowl: $50,000
4) Play in Fiesta or Cotton Bowl: $50,000
5) Play in College Football Semi-Finals or Finals: $60,000
6) Win the College Football Finals: $75,000

Other amenities of Foster's contract include the use of an automobile, membership in a local country club, 16 tickets per home game, eight bowl game tickets, and University benefits.
