2013 signee Holland Fisher will not attend Virginia Tech this year, according to HokieHaven.com. Fisher will enroll at Fork Union Military Academy for the 2013 season.
It's been known for quite awhile that Fisher needed work to do academically to enroll at Virginia Tech. He failed to make the grades in his final semester of high school, and he'll have a year to make it up at Fork Union.
Fisher is the #83 recruit nationally by Rivals.com, and the #36 recruit in the country according to 247Sports. He originally chose the Hokies over Alabama, and he also had offers from UVA, WVU, UNC, NC State, Ohio State, Tennessee, and others.
Once he enrolls at Fork Union, Fisher will become a recruitable athlete once again, though reports say he remains committed to Virginia Tech.
