Virginia Tech downed Connecticut 3-1 to eliminate the Huskies and set up a Sunday night game with Oklahoma. First pitch will be at 7 PM, and if the Hokies win, they'll have to defeat Oklahoma again Monday night to advance to Super Regionals.
The game between #1 seed VT and #4 seed UConn was delayed two hours by rain and didn't start until 3 PM, pushing back the start of the matchup between the Hokies and #2 seed Oklahoma until 7 PM.
