David Wilson was selected by the New York Giants with the #32 and final pick of the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft.  He becomes the first Tech player selected in the first round since Duane Brown in 2008, and the ninth Tech player ever picked in the first round.

Wilson set the single season school record with 1,709 rushing yards this season.  He had nine rushing touchdowns, and he also caught 22 passes for 129 yards and a touchdown.  He averaged 5.9 yards per carry.
