If you've been following Virginia Tech recruiting during the past 24-48 hours, you might have seen graphics like this popping up.
Why, might you ask? There's a ton of talent in the state of North Carolina, and Virginia Tech wants to bring some of those players to Blacksburg.
As we've said before, Virginia Tech is recruiting dozens of players from North Carolina in the Class of 2018, many of whom are high-level prospects. On Wednesday, Chris Coleman began a TSL Pass series on Virginia Tech's push into North Carolina, focusing on the Greensboro area.
In an effort to establish a pipeline from the Tar Heel state, @HokiesFB on Twitter launched a massive campaign to help bring recruits to Virginia Tech.

The Virginia Tech recruiting staff sent a similar graphic to their 2018 recruits.

The staff has even enlisted the help of current Virginia Tech players from the state of North Carolina.

How much of an impact will something like this make? That's debatable, but one thing isn't â Virginia Tech has made North Carolina a priority on the recruiting trail, and it's likely going to stay that way.
