The ACC is holding its annual ACC Kickoff media event in Charlotte this week, and Tech Sideline will be in attendance with full coverage on TechSideline.com, our YouTube channel, Spotify and social media.

ACC Kickoff runs from Wednesday, July 15, through Friday, July 17. If it seems early this year, you’re not imagining things. In recent years, ACC Kickoff has been the fourth week of July, so it has been moved up a week this year.
Virginia Tech is scheduled to meet with the media on Thursday morning. Hokie attendees for ACC Kickoff 2026 will be head coach James Franklin, defensive tackle Kemari Copeland, safety Tyson Flowers and running back Marcellous Hawkins. New Virginia Tech vice president and director of athletics Brian White will also be in attendance and available for interviews.
All TSL staff will be in attendance, and we’ll be joined by Tech Sideline podcast host Carter Hill. In addition to written coverage of ACC Kickoff from Andy Bitter, David Cunningham and Chris Coleman, we’ll have a presence on “Radio Row,” and Carter Hill will have audio/video interviews with all Virginia Tech attendees, produced by Nick Brown, Tech Sideline’s director of media.
