Virginia Tech men's basketball will play Iowa in a neutral-site game in Sioux City, Iowa, on Tuesday, Nov. 10, the school announced.
It'll be the first Division I college basketball game held at the Tyson Events Center, with Vanderbilt and Iowa women's basketball also set to play there five days later on Sunday, Nov. 15.
Tip time and television information will be announced at a later date.
The Hawkeyes are coming off a 24-13 (10-10 Big Ten) season under first-year head coach Ben McCollum. They reached the Elite Eight after NCAA Tournament victories over No. 8 seed Clemson, No. 1 seed Florida and No. 4 seed Nebraska before losing to No. 3 seed Illinois.
It'll mark the fifth meeting between Tech and Iowa and the first since 2017. The Hokies are 4-0 in the series, with all clashes occurring in the old ACC/Big Ten Challenge.
The Tyson Events Center is 300 miles northwest of Iowa City, home to the Hawkeyes' campus. That program also has two neutral-site contests in Des Moines on the docket already against Creighton and Alabama.
Meanwhile, the Hokies now have 10 non-conference games on their 2026-27 slate. Home games include Richmond, Old Dominion and Ole Miss, along with the Charleston Classic.
