Virginia Tech picked up an offensive line commitment from Ohio State's Justin Terry, he announced on Saturday.

The Pickerington, Ohio, native played 129 total snaps — 57 on offense, 72 on special teams — over six games this season for the Buckeyes and posted a pass-blocking grade of 80.1, per PFF. He made the move to Columbus after redshirting as a true freshman at West Virginia under now-Tech offensive line coach Matt Moore.

Terry was a three-star talent by 247Sports, ESPN and On3 out of Pickerington Central High School. Rivals gave him two-star status. Akron, Appalachian State, Ball State, Bowling Green, Florida Atlantic, Miami (OH) and Toledo were some of his offers, while the Mountaineers were the lone Power Four school interested.

As a transfer portal recruit, Terry linked back up with Moore in Blacksburg. He had entered the portal with a do-not-contact tag and visited Tech in January before committing.

He's the fourth offensive lineman to commit to the Hokies this offseason, joining Justin Bell (Michigan State), Logan Howland (Oklahoma) and Michael Troutman III (Penn State). They now sit at 21 scholarship offensive linemen.
