Virginia Tech and James Franklin added a commitment from Penn State defensive tackle Randy Adirika on Monday, he announced on his social media.
The Miami native played 19 snaps over two games this season for the Nittany Lions while redshirting as a true freshman.
Rivals listed Adirika as a four-star prospect out of Miami Central High School and the 19th defensive lineman in the 2025 class. He racked up 30 tackles for loss and nine sacks as a senior. As a sophomore, he helped the Rockets to a state championship and a national title.
Adirika originally chose Penn State over Miami and USC and held other offers from Florida State, Louisville, Pitt, Rutgers, UCF and West Virginia.
