Jackson is a bigger outside receiver at 6-2, 215, which the Hokies need. He is originally from Flowery Branch, Ga. Over the course of three seasons with Louisiana Tech, he caught 46 passes for 753 yards (16.4 avg.) and three touchdowns. That included a six-reception, 103-yard performance on Oct. 21 vs. Western Kentucky.

An unranked prospect out of Cherokee Bluff High School, where he was an all-state player, Jackson received interest from Kennesaw State, Middle Tennessee and Troy.

He is the second wide receiver commit of the day for Virginia Tech, joining Duke slot receiver Que’Sean Brown. With the additions of Jackson and Brown, the Hokies now have 13 scholarship receivers on the roster for 2026.
