Virginia Tech rising senior linebacker Caleb Woodson will enter the transfer portal, per multiple online reports, including 247Sports and On3.

Woodson appeared in 35 games during his career with the Hokies. He began his career as a star linebacker in 2023 before moving inside for his sophomore and junior seasons. He totaled 152 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss and two sacks during his career in Blacksburg.
With Woodson hitting the portal, Virginia Tech currently has seven scholarship linebackers, two of which will be true freshmen.
