Virginia Tech’s offensive line got a boost on Thanksgiving day with the commitment of Timber Creek (Sicklerville, N.J.) lineman Roseby Lubintus.

He was previously committed at various points to both Penn State and Syracuse, but he eventually elected to follow James Franklin to Blacksburg.
Lubintus is huge, though he’s considered to be a raw prospect who needs some work from a technique standpoint. He has an offer list that includes Boston College, Florida, Maryland, Michigan State and West Virginia. He could potentially play tackle or guard depending on how his footwork develops.

Lubintus is part of what is expected to be a large offensive line recruiting class at Virginia Tech, which currently includes Buddy Wegdam and Tyrell Simpson. He’s the second commit of the Franklin era, joining running back Messiah Mickens.
