Tech's first conference game of the Megan Duffy era came at Duke on Dec. 8, 2024, and the Blue Devils are first on the docket again this year — this time in Blacksburg. A pre-Christmas trip to Florida State is next, squeezed in between some non-conference contests, before Tech hosts Miami on New Year's Day.

After heading to Louisville on Jan. 4, the Hokies have a six-game stretch against sub-.500 squads from last season — at Syracuse, vs. Boston College, at SMU, vs. Clemson, at Wake Forest and vs. Pitt. The first part of the Commonwealth Clash — vs. Virginia on Sunday, Feb. 1 — caps what appears to be, at least on paper, the easiest part of Tech's schedule. Including the Cavaliers, those seven teams were a combined 91-127 (.417) in 2024-25, including a 35-91 (.278) mark in the ACC.

Things ramp back up after that with Notre Dame (away) and NC State (home) back-to-back — the top-two teams in last year's league standings. Then Tech has its first West Coast swing under Duffy with contests at Stanford (Thursday) and at Cal (Sunday) from Feb. 12-15. It'll be the program's sixth trip to California and the first since the SMC Concord Hilton Tournament in Moraga in 2011-12.

The Hokies close with North Carolina and Georgia Tech at home before facing the Cavaliers in John Paul Jones Arena on Sunday, March 1. The 2026 ACC Tournament, which is being held at Gas South Arena in Duluth, Ga., will be from Wednesday, March 4, through Sunday, March 8.

Tech's two open dates are Sunday, Jan. 18, and Thursday, Feb. 26.
